Full Itinerary
Choose Your Ride
You will meet at a centrally located meeting point and head straight to our garage to receive an introduction and choose one of our Vespas. Then the tour leader will fit each guest with a helmet and give some basic instructions and safety information. Once everybody is feeling a little more confident, it’s time to bite the bullet and get out there!
You will set off (slowly at first) and head for the freedom of the hills, following the tour leader along the riverside and a tree-lined avenue to a famous viewpoint. From here, you’ll be able to look out and enjoy the incredible panoramic views – and take plenty of snaps to show off to your friends once you return home. Views on Tuscany Vespa tours don’t get much better than this!
Enjoy a Spot of Culture
After posing for photos with your beloved vehicle and the amazing skyline of Florence at the viewpoint, get your culture hat on and enjoy a quick visit inside one of the region’s oldest churches. This spot is also abundant with photo opportunities.
Dare to Speed Up
After taking things relatively slow and steady on the first half of the ride, it’s time to try some more challenging roads. The group will leave the crowds and traffic behind and take to the narrow lanes between castles and villas, through ancient olive groves and around vineyards. For those looking to experience the real raw beauty of Italy from its seldom-visited backroads, Tuscany Vespa tours really are your best bet.
Taste Tuscany
You’ll have certainly worked up an appetite after your exhilarating ride through Italy’s beautiful streets and back lanes, and luckily for you, the next part of the tour features a delicious Tuscan treat. Admire the magnificent views from our country estate and sample some of Tuscany's best prosciutto and cheese with a glass of Chianti.
The Final Stretch
Tuscany Vespa tours wouldn’t be complete without a final farewell ride, so hop back onto your vehicle like a real expert and ride back to the garage feeling more Italian than ever before.

Guided Vespa Fun with a Tuscan Twist – A Must-Do!
by: Michelle Hamland on Walkabout
My spouse and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in Italy and wanted something exciting and unique to the area—and the Vespa tour in Florence delivered beyond expectations! Our guide, Gabriel, was fantastic, making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. He gave great tips on handling the Vespa, which made us feel confident and safe. The guides went above and beyond, even blocking traffic to keep our small group together on busier roads. And the food stop? Absolutely delightful! We enjoyed classic Tuscan dishes at a beautiful vineyard, a perfect added touch for the value. Gabriel’s expertise and warmth made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Best Birthday present ever

Thank you so much for such an amazing tour of the Tuscan hill on a Vespa. All the staff especially Gabriel & Alex. Helped us through the roads. The lunch was a typical Tuscan lunch which was beautiful. Would very much recommend the tour. They checked our efficiency on a scooter before allowing us on the road. Thank you once again. Would definitely use you again.
Fun Vespa tour

I highly recommend the Vespa tour through Tuscany! We had such a fun time riding through the countryside, enjoying the views and the Italian history. The tour started with a bus ride through the hills to a warehouse where we got a brief Vespa driving lesson before starting the tour. We made our way up and down the steep hills, taking in the beautiful views of vineyards and historical landmarks, such as churches and Gallelo’s home. Our tour guide, Ludo, did a great job of making the tour fun as well as educational. She was super friendly and effectively organized the tour to maximize our fun. Our other tour guide, Massimo, was also very helpful and kind. Throughout the 3 hours of driving, we stopped about 4 times, to see a viewpoint, a church and cemetery, and the final destination: a cute lunch at a quaint little property outdoors. We enjoyed the lunch of pasta, bruschetta, and wine while conversing by the lovely garden. Awesome tour, we all had so much fun!!!
Tons of fun in the Tuscan sun

The Florence Vespa Tour makes for a memorable experience, I highly recommend! Shout out to our Vespa Tour Guides: Mano Chris In my opinion, they made the tour! They were kind, fun, engaging, knowledgeable and patient. Our group was the least experienced and they took their time having us practice riding the Vespas until we felt ready to take to the roads. You can tell safety is a priority. Six of us embarked on the Vespa tour. Two in the group ended up riding with someone, I highly recommend you have some experience. The route & itinerary are well planned. No rushing us, just pure enjoyment along with great nuggets of information at our stops. We stopped at two picturesque locations, meandered through narrow Tuscan roads and our guides checked in with us, even halting traffic so we could safely navigate a couple of the busier intersections. It all culminated at their beautiful property with a beautiful meal and delicious Sangiovese. The jovial spirit exuded by the employees aided in the experience because you could tell they enjoy what they do and the company treats them well! A shout out to Ludavica Gasper, the bus driver who took tight corners with our coach bus like nobody’s business! It’s a tour of a lifetime, all six of us highly recommend the Firenze Vespa Tour!
Fabulous Fabio
by: Corey Gucker on Walkabout
We thoroughly enjoyed our Vespa tour through Tuscany with our guide, Fabio. He looked just like our American Fabio, minus about 200 lbs. He stopped at many great sites and share just a shit ton of fun facts and wild stories. We highly recommend this tour with Fabio. Even my husband agrees that the scenery, food, wine, and Fabio eye candy was money well spent!
Fun and relaxed

Fabio and Walkabout took all the complications out of a classic Tuscan experience. Fabio’s local knowledge, enthusiasm and friendliness were a huge plus. The Vespas were in perfect condition and easy to ride while the roads were fun without being challenging.
A must if you visit Florence

What an amazing experience! My fiance and I first time in Italy and first time on a vespa! Chris was an amazing guide and very attentive! I'd rate it higher if I could. Well worth every penny! Thank you again Chris for the tour and making sure we had fun and we're taken care of!
Frequently Asked Questions
DO YOU CATER FOR PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES/VEGETARIANS?
Definitely! If you would prefer an alternative to the menu we have chosen, please tell your tour leader and he/she will telephone ahead to arrange it.
DO I NEED A MOTORBIKE LICENCE TO RIDE A VESPA?
A valid car licence is sufficient and you must be at least 18 years of age.
IS IT DIFFICULT TO RIDE THE VESPA IN FLORENCE'S TRAFFIC?
Driving in Italy can be a little different, so just like driving anywhere in the world you must be alert and vigilant and follow the tour leader's instructions.
WHAT IF I LOSE SIGHT OF THE LEADER?
If riders get separated from the tour leader, for example at traffic lights, the tour leader will wait in the first safe place until all the Vespas are together again.
CAN TWO PEOPLE RIDE ON ONE VESPA?
Yes! Two people can share a Vespa and take it in turns to drive, or one can drive and the second person can simply enjoy the ride.
CAN CHILDREN RIDE ON THE BACK?
Unfortunately we cannot allow children to ride as passengers on the Vespas. Minimum age to be on the tour is 18.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Remember to bring something waterproof if there is a chance of rain! Don't wear flip flops or high heels if you are new to riding the Vespa, flat sensible shoes will be easier.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?
You must bring your driving licence. Make sure you bring your camera!
DO YOU PICK US UP FROM OUR HOTEL?
We do not organise hotel pick-ups for difficulties with parking and scheduling, but our meeting in front in Piazza dei Cavalleggeri is very central and should be easy to get to. We are just in front of the Biblioteca Nazionale (National Library) from which many hotels are located within easy walking distance of. Otherwise a taxi (you could ask your hotel to book it for you) would be the fastest option, dropping you off right at the entrance of the Biblioteca Nazionale (National Library).
