Full-Day Chianti Wine Safari
If you dream of a classic Chianti experience, this full-day tour is for you! Departing from Florence, you’ll travel deep into the Chianti Classico wine region, famous for its Sangiovese-based wines and breathtaking vineyard-covered hills. You’ll visit two top-rated wineries located in two splendid Tuscan villas, explore their ancient cellars, and taste a variety of Chianti Classico DOCG wines with cheese and cured meat tastings. The adventure continues with an off-road drive through private vineyards, stopping at scenic viewpoints for photos. A traditional Tuscan lunch will be served at a winery restaurant, featuring local appetizers and handmade pasta - Duration: 9 hours
Full-Day Val d’Orcia Wine Safari: Brunello & Montepulciano
Immerse yourself in the magic of Val d’Orcia, one of Tuscany’s most breathtaking and iconic landscapes, where rolling wheat fields, ancient stone villages, and endless vineyards create a scene straight out of a Renaissance painting. This full-day off-road wine safari takes you deep into the heart of Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano territory—two of Italy’s most celebrated red wines. Visit prestigious wineries and learn about the aging process of Brunello, one of Italy’s most prized and long-lived red wines. Our guide, Alex, was incredibly informative and entertaining. He is a sommelier and lifelong Tuscan who clearly has a passion for the history, food, and drinks of the region. Sergio admirably drove the 4x4 through the gorgeous hills and villages of the Chianti region, and his passengers didn’t experience the slightest discomfort. While more expensive than some other tours, this safari is still absolute value for money. We were met with knowledgeable guides and full table settings for our Chianti Classico tastings at every vineyard. Each estate seemed more stunning than the last, and I honestly couldn’t imagine better locations. We weren’t wanting for wine, cheese, olive oil, or conversation: everyone in the group was laughing like old friends by the time we were done with the first tasting. The way we were all seated in close proximity for the tastings really helped us get to know each other right away. 10 out of 10, this safari should be part of any holiday in Florence.

We were recommended this tour by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. Our tour guide was Sara and our driver jusippe. Sara was the best. Very knowledgeable about the area and the wine. If you are going to Florence and want to experience Tuscany, this tour is a must.
Best Way to Experience the Chianti Wine Region

This tour is a must do if you’re in Florence and love your wine. All the wineries we visited were beautiful and very accommodating. All the lunch, wine and snacks along the way were delicious. Lavi was a fantastic tour guide who gave us heaps of interesting information about the region and Roberto was a champion driver navigating the difficult roads. The office staff were also very accommodating when I fell ill and had to alter my booking.
Charming Chianti Safari

My husband and I had an amazing day trip under the Tuscan sun with Alessandro (guide) and Giuseppe (Torsus driver). We sampled 9 wines in good company. Alessandro taught us about the wine & olive oil making, Italian history and managed to create a connection with everyone. 10/10 would recommend this tour.

IS THERE MUCH WALKING INVOLVED?
There is not so much walking involved in this tour and you will be transported by a 4WD vehicle.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We suggest that you dress seasonally in comfortable to dressy-casual.
HOW MUCH TIME DO WE SPEND ON THE VEHICLE?
We have arranged an itinerary so that you will never spend too long on the vehicle. The longest ride of the day is about an hour.
DOES YOUR BUS HAVE A WASHROOM?
Our vehicle does not have a washroom. However the day is very well divided so that you are never too far from washrooms.
IS THE TOUR SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
With the tour being focused on wine & fine food we believe that this tour is not appropriate for children of any age. The minimum age is 18.
WE ARE CATCHING A TRAIN AFTER THE TOUR, CAN WE BRING OUR LUGGAGE WITH US?
Unfortunately we do not have the possibility to store luggage on the vehicle.
