Our Walkabout Florence tour leaders are a major part of the success of our organised excursions. Their generosity of spirit is matched by a deep understanding of their subject and a genuine passion for sharing the fun and adventure of all things Italy! In this post we’d like to introduce you to Martina.
Martina says her life as a tour guide was something that “just had to happen”. With a deep love of travel, a background in natural science and oenology (wine and wine making) and a passion for the great outdoors, we’d have to agree!
Martina’s love of travel has provided her with many inspirational experiences, and it is her genuine enjoyment of sharing the knowledge and passion she has for her own country and culture that endears her to clients on her tours. She knows she’s making dreams come true for so many people and sharing their excitement and joy is one of her favourite parts of the job.
A licenced sommelier and nature hiking guide, Martina’s skills are put to excellent use on Walkabout Florence’s unique range of tours. You really couldn’t be in better hands on our Chianti wine tasting tours, so stick close and you’re sure to learn a thing or two!
